It is approved for the treatment of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in cats caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Streptococcus canis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus felis and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius.

Veraflox flavoured tablets and Veraflox 2.5% oral suspension are indicated to treat a wide range of infections, including skin and wound, upper respiratory tract and urinary tract infections in cats and dogs. In addition, Veraflox-flavoured tablets are approved as an adjunct treatment to mechanical or surgical periodontal therapy to treat gingivitis and periodontitis in dogs.
