Cardalis is a brown, oblong shaped tablet and is for the treatment of congestive heart failure in dogs. They are supplied in 2.5mg/20mg, 5mg/40mg and 10mg/80mg tablets and can be sold in either individual tablets or packs of 30. The active ingredients are benazepril hydrochloride and spironolactone.
Congestive heart failure is when your dog’s heart has trouble pumping blood to the rest of the body. This can be caused by old age, an injury or infection. In some cases, dogs can be born with this defect.

Early symptoms can be:

. Coughing more than usual

. Tiring easily

. Hard time breathing

. Swollen belly

Why Cardalis? Cardalis is different to other medications as it combines both benazepril and spironolactone, which means only one treatment is required. By giving both these ingredients, owners with dogs suffering from heart failure are 3 times less likely to see any deterioration in health or death due to heart failure than giving just benazepril alone.

Dose:

20-40kg – 1 x 10mg/80mg

40-60kg – 1.5 x 10mg/80mg

60-80kg – 2 x 10mg/80mg

1 box / 30 tablets
