Vetmedin Chew 1.25mg contains pimobendan (1.25mg per scored, divisible chewable tablet) by Boehringer Ingelheim. For small dogs (2.5–10kg) with congestive heart failure (CHF) from valve disease or dilated cardiomyopathy, and for Stage B2 preclinical MMVD. Delays onset of heart failure by ~15 months (EPIC trial). 50 tablets = 25 days for a 5kg dog on 1 tab BID. Give 1 hour before food. Twice daily dosing.

Treats canine congestive heart failure from dilated cardiomyopathy or valve disease (MMVD/MVVD), and delays onset of heart failure in preclinical MMVD Stage B2 and preclinical DCM in Dobermans. 50 tablets = 25 days supply for a 20kg dog on standard dosing. Give 1 hour before food. Twice daily dosing.
