For veterinary use only. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Administer the product carefully with dogs with severe renal and hepatic dysfunction. In rare cases, anorexia and vomiting are observed. Antidote does not exist and the treatment of overdose is symptomatic. Do not combine with other medicines such as tetracyclines, phenics or macrolides because they can neutralize the effect of enrofloxacin. Concomitant use with fluoroquinolones may result in anticoagulant action (medicines that prevent blood clotting). Do not combine with theophylline (a medicine used as a bronchial dilator) as this may increase the time to remove this substance. Concomitant administration of magnesium or aluminum-containing substances may be followed by delayed absorption of enrofloxacin. Fluoroquinolones should be used in conditions that do not respond or are insufficiently responsive to treatments with other classes of antimicrobial agents.Where possible, use of fluorochinolones should be corroborated with antibiotics. Using the product inconsistent with the instructions in the SPC may increase the resistance of bacteria to fluoroquinolones and may induce a decrease in the effectiveness of other quinolones due to cross-resistance. Official and local antimicrobial rules should be considered when using the product. Enroxil Flavor 150 mg tablets are not for prophylactic use. Warnings for the operator Wash hands after use. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet to the doctor.
