Apoquel 16 mg Oclacitinib / 20 tablets /

Apoquel 16mg Tablets for dogs are for the control of itching associated with allergic and atopic dermatitis. It works to control the enzymes involved in allergenic reactions and provides relief within 4 hours of consumption. Itching is then effectively managed within 24 hours, providing your pet with a better quality of life.

It is available in single tablets or packs of 100 tablets.

Unlike common therapies such as steroids, cyclosporines or antihistamines, Apoquel is the only treatment specifically designed to go straight to the source of the itch. When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient in Apoquel, Oclacitinib, uniquely targets the function of cell proteins to stop itching with a minimal negative impact on immune function.

Apoquel 16mg tablets are manufactured by Zoeits and are developed specifically for dogs. As such, they must never be used in other animals.

Dosage and Administration
For oral use. The recommended initial dose is 0.4 to 0.6 mg oclacitinib/kg bodyweight, administered orally, twice daily for up to 14 days or as specified by your vet.

For maintenance therapy, the same dose (0.4 to 0.6 mg oclacitinib/kg bodyweight) should then be administered only once a day. The requirement for long-term maintenance therapy should be based on an individual benefit-risk assessment.

Apoquel can be administered with or without food and the tablets are breakable along the score line.
